Yesterday we had a planned fire drill at school. The weather was beautiful, the kids were compliant – all 4,300 of them. In the process I was able to get some vitamin D. It reminded me of our sleepless fire-drill infused nights at Kripalu.

On a different note – As an experiment I bought a Green & Black 85% chocolate bar about a week ago. In years past my sweet tooth would have consumed the bar in one sitting. I’ve been eating off of it for about 5 days and I’ve got a bit less than half left. I’d say that is a step in the right direction. The experiment t was a success.

    • First off, 4300 students? Wow! I laughed out loud when you mentioned the fire drills at Kripalu. It seems like a bad dream!

I’m glad to hear about the chocolate; I find myself in the same boat. It’s so funny that 80% dark chocolate was one of the things that stuck in my head – more so than John telling us to eat water packed sardines. So funny! I’ve bought the Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate and the Newman’s but haven’t tried the Green & Black yet. I’m on my way to the grocery store and will try that out tonight.

Glad to hear that you’re doing well. I have to plan my next visit to Kripalu, ensuring that it coincides with John’s next trip so that I can have an in person consult with him.

Michael sent me a great recipe for chili. I’m going to give it a shot (minus the ‘fake beef’ – I’m just not there yet). : )
