Beach: Mediatation and Sun

A great lesson learned at Krupalu was to be sure that a daily meditation practice was continued. This helps remove the daily stressors that cause a body to become unbalanced and lose harmony. I’ve taken my meditation to the beach. It’s a great place to relax and get that important one hour of Vitamin D.

    A surprise great take-home from Kripalu was Ken Nelson’s Yin Yoga CD. I bought it because of our great moments under that tree. I had never done Yin Yoga. It is wonderful – with regular practice one can get spectacular results. It works mostly with your joints. Magic!

    It reminds me of when I was a kid with a loose tooth. I would rock that tooth back and forth, enjoying that dull pain and realizing that there was a greater goal in mind. There are also some good yin yoga tidbits on YouTube. Try it. Almost as good as a walk on the beach, but not quite.

  2. I could use another visit back to Kripalu for some R&R. Good call on the CD. When I came home, I bought some items on the online store site (as a gift for a friend) and the customer service was excellent. Perhaps I’ll make a return shopping trip and get the Yin Yoga CD on your recommendation.
