A great lesson learned at Krupalu was to be sure that a daily meditation practice was continued. This helps remove the daily stressors that cause a body to become unbalanced and lose harmony. I’ve taken my meditation to the beach. It’s a great place to relax and get that important one hour of Vitamin D.

A few of you have asked about the name of this site – Day 1 for Health. The name of this site represents the idea that anyone can start over with their nutrition and eating habits at any point. You can, essentially, have a Day 1 at any point. Your healthy eating begins when you decide, when you have the correct informational resources, and when you are ready to make the change.
