At Kripalu, we learned that a clove of garlic a day is essential to health. In order to get more garlic, I started leaving a cast iron pan with sautéed garlic cloves on my stove as a snack.
I took one whole garlic, separated the cloves and left the skin on. I placed it in a cast iron pan with some Extra Virgin Olive Oil and rosemary. I lightly sautéed it at a low heat and left it in the pan when it was done.
This way, I have a quick snack to eat. The strong flavor of the garlic is enough to get me through an hour or so.
Note – garlic’s legacy of bad breath isn’t as bad as expected!
This allows me to get more than my daily dose of garlic!
